Mellow Yellow doesn't appeal to young tourists as much as to those aware of the cannabis history in Amsterdam and the way things have evolved up to what we all know today. It has out of style decorations and under dated facilities, and yet some visitors come here regularly and have a great time.

Mellow Yellow breathes a traditional atmosphere, just fit for the nostalgic, and serves as a vivid historical sight for initiated tourists. In which the latter are considered, Mellow Yellow working personal is often regarded as little friendly and caring with foreign visitors, which is not completely falls. Mondays til Thursdays, Mellow Yellow stays open from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays you can find the coffeeshop open for business from 8 a.m. till 1 a.m.
