The idea of sitting on a houseboat is very exciting. I've never done it, should I stay in a houseboat or hotel in Amsterdam?

Try the houseboat! You will never regret it. Its not as comfortable as a 4* hotel but its an unique experience.

I am also planning to sit in a houseboat. Does anyone knows something cheap that I could rent for 3 months?

    Hi,

Ive just come back from spending a few weeks in Amsterdam and feel like ive gotten to know the place pretty good. I just went by mywelf but still had fun cos all the peopel are v firendly, perhaps due to the high amount of weed that people smoke! lol

Anyway, I was renting a small apartment which was perfect for me with a company called Holistay, you can check their site on this lnk http://www.holistay.com/netherlands/ Its v easy to use and you get a good amount of space for your money! I would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere they can rent in the 'Dam! Apart from checking this sites out I would reccommend any potential Amsterdam visitors to go on the official site of Amsterdam http://www.holland.com/amsterdam/ and if you can speak Dutch this is great too! http://www.holland.com/amsterdam/nl/

All in all Id say hotel is better than a boat, unless you're the adventurous type! Hope that's good for you! Enjoy the 'DAM!!! x
